Our gutter cleaning and vacuuming service is about making sure your property is ready for the long periods of wet weather we face in this country. After clearing your gutters, we do a water test to make sure there is no more debris blocking water flow. During this test, we are also able to identify if there are any leaks or other issues that need repair. Here are a few examples of minor repairs we’ve done for gutter cleaning clients.
As you can see in the video, rust had totally corroded the downpipe away from the guttering, causing water to leak through into the building. Thankfully, we were able to repair the frame using specially designed plastic sheeting to ensure water flows away properly from now on, extending the life span of the facility.
For this second case, we discovered an issue while clearing blocked downpipes. All the other downpipes had access saddles except one. So we carefully drilled a hole in the cast iron down-pipe, cleared the blockage with our pressure washing drain clearing hose, then installed an access saddle for any possible future blockages.
Occasionally, during the water test we find leaks due to degraded or missing sealant around some gutter joints. We simply apply some sealant to make sure the gutter functions as it should.
